Activities

Animal Husbandry
Animal husbandry is everything that animals require to ensure their safety, wellbeing and to have a great quality of life. This includes; feeding the animals, animal health checks, cleaning and improvements to their environment. This also includes the annual tasks like shearing and vet visits.

DIY and Maintenance
This is any job on the farm that requires something to be made or fixed. This can include fences being fixed or built, Building and moving new enrichment activities for the animals, and helping with any project on the farm.

Horticulture
Horticulture is everything growing. We grow a variety of plants, including fruits and vegetables for our animals to have lovely treats. We do the whole process from planting seeds in the Polly tunnel to harvesting in the fields.

Wood Work
Wood work is a varied activity to enjoy. In this you can build new things like bird boxes or seasonal crafts or fix items around the farm using the tools we have on site.

Farm to Fork
We grow a variety of fruits and vegetables at our farm and from these we make items such as chutney and jams as well as our lunch daily. You will learn cooking skills whilst also learning where and how food grows. We utilise all things on the farm like wool from the sheep to create crafts and to protect our plants during winter.

Crafts
The types of crafts that are created are seasonal and are as much as possible created from items on the farm, such as the wool from our sheep. The items we make we will sell at local farmers markets to further develop confidence and skills.
